ERETICUS TREBBIANO TERRE SICILIANE IGT WHITE WINE

A gorgeously refreshing white wine made with grapes grown in the sun kissed vineyards of beautiful Sicily. It has a pale straw colour with touches of light green in the glass. Its aromatic bouquet is reminiscent of crisp apples and ripe peaches and it has a soft, consistent taste of these gently flavoured fruits. Served at 8-10°, it pairs amazingly well with white meats, smoked salmon, crustaceans of all kinds and blue cheeses.

IGT (Indicazione geografica tipica) is the third of four wine classifications recognized by the Italian government. This classification acknowledges the unusually high quality of the class of fine wines referred to as "Super Tuscans". IGT wines are labeled with the locality in which they were produced; in this case, Sicily.

• A Wines with a cork are fine to be stored standing up. Keep all wines away from bright light (both natural or artificial) and keep at a cool and constant temperature, ideally between 10-12°C.

• A You don’t need to decant this wine, but, any wine can be decanted. The reason for decanting is to aerate the wine; a lot of young wines can be tight or closed on the nose or palate. By slowly pouring the wine into the decanter it takes in oxygen which helps to open up the aromas and flavours.
