FENESTRER SAUVIGNON BLANC VENETO IGT WHITE WINE

A refreshingly crisp white wine made with sauvignon grapes grown in some of the finest vineyards in the Veneto region of Italy. It has a golden yellow colour with shades of light green in the glass. On the nose it is herbaceous and fragrant, complex and yet, elegant. On the palate it is deliciously fresh and dry with hints of crisp apple. Served at 8-10°, it pairs amazingly well with white meats, fish and courses with creamy sauces.

IGT (Indicazione geografica tipica) is the third of four wine classifications recognized by the Italian government. This classification acknowledges the unusually high quality of the class of fine wines referred to as "Super Tuscans". IGT wines are labeled with the locality in which they were produced; in this case, the Veneto region of Italy.

• A Wines with a cork are fine to be stored standing up. Keep all wines away from bright light (both natural or artificial) and keep at a cool and constant temperature, ideally between 10-12°C.

• A You don’t need to decant this wine, but, any wine can be decanted. The reason for decanting is to aerate the wine; a lot of young wines can be tight or closed on the nose or palate. By slowly pouring the wine into the decanter it takes in oxygen which helps to open up the aromas and flavours.
