With winter finally on the way, let’s get ready to warm ourselves up.

The most common question around the office this week has been ‘will we actually be having a winter this year?’ All of the newspapers a few months ago were predicting this will be the worst winter for 80 years, record snowfall etc etc. It appears that next week will finally see the arrival of the chilly stuff and this got us all talking about nice warming food ideas.

We settled on Coq Au Vin as one of our favourites, mainly because of the inclusion of red wine – any excuse here in the Premier Estates office.

We found a cracking recipe on the BBC Good Food website, you can find it HERE. We’d recommend using our South Africa Pinotage as the red wine, it received a commendation from the International Wine Challenge 2016 and is just the sort of rich red wine that will be perfect for this dish.
