Premier Estates Wine wins 9 New Awards at IWC 2016
Today is a fantastic day at the Premier Estates Wine HQ. We have just found out that our wines have won no fewer than nine new awards at tranche two of the International Wine Challenge (IWC) 2016. This news comes just one week after the announcement that our Californian Chardonnay gained a Bronze medal at this year’s International Wine & Spirits Challenge (IWSC) and follows the December IWC results where we had five award-winners.
Our recent streak of award-wins from the world’s finest and most fastidiously judged drinks competitions only goes to show that you can have fantastic quality, highly esteemed wines at affordable, everyday prices. With this in mind, we are especially pleased that three out of the nine winners are from our Italian Range, where prices start from a mere £5.99.
Budge Dhariwal, Managing Director, states, ‘I’m particularly proud of the awards given to our Italian wines. To receive three prestigious awards for our entry level wines goes to show the exacting level of quality that we expect from our winemakers and just how well they meet our standards. We are confident that our continued success in such highly regarded competitions will underline the fact that a Premier Estates Wine is a safe bet when looking for a high quality bottle of wine.’
Joining the ranks of our other Bronze Medal winners are our tangy and tropical Chile Sauvignon Blanc and our lively Cava Brut 2015. Our California Chardonnay, South Africa Pinotage, Chile Merlot, Italian Merlot, Italian Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio Blush and Prosecco Extra Dry have also all been awarded Commendations.
