Grand Rose Summer Fruit Punch

Grand Rose Summer Fruit Punch

Cool down whilst enjoying this "taste sensation" punch

The team at Premier Estates Wine have all been enjoying the beautiful summer weather and we’re sure our customers are smiling too. Just to add to the enjoyment of entertaining friends and family with a garden party or even if you’re just relaxing in the sunshine following a hard day’s work, the team have been busily creating sparkling wine punch recipes.

One of the best recipes they’ve discovered has to be this Summer Fruit Punch. We’ve blended our Italian Grand Rosé (also known as our “Pink Prosecco”) with the finest pick of traditional summer fruits and come up with a punch that we believe would be a talking point of any party. It’s difficult to enhance a sparkling wine that is already adored by a huge number of our customers, but we’ve found just the right blend of fruits and crème de cassis liqueur to enhance the subtle sweetness and effervescence of our award winning Grand Rosé.

Making The Summer Fruit Punch

It’s just so simple and fast to put this punch together. Once you’ve gathered the ingredients, it takes just a few minutes. You will need:

  • 2 Bottles of Premier Estates Italian Grand Rosé
  • 2 Cups of Lemonade – clear or cloudy, whatever your preference
  • 6 Ripe Plums
  • 2 Juicy Oranges, cut into wedges
  • 1 Zesty Lemon, cut into wedges
  • 1 Cup of Crème de Cassis (blackcurrant liqueur)
  • A handful of ripe, sweet raspberries
  • A handful of ripe, sweet blackberries
  • Plenty of Ice

Add a couple of handfuls of ice to a large punch bowl or punch dispenser and pour in the lemonade. Next, slice up the 6 ripe plums, cut the oranges and lemon into wedges and add all these to the bowl. Carefully pour in the 2 bottles of Grand Rosé so that you don’t lose too much fizz and then slowly add the cup of crème de cassis. Last of all, add the berry fruits and if there’s still a little room in the bowl, add in some more ice to help keep your punch ice cold.

The best thing about serving punch in a bowl or a dispenser is that if it starts to run low during your party, all you need to do is top it up with whichever ingredient you think is missing and you can keep it fresh for the duration.

We know this summer fruit punch will be a hit and love to hear your comments on facebook or twitter when you try it out. We’ll keep you posted with new summer cocktail recipes as often as we are able.
